Our 
Story

Company Start

​

  • When? - Started in 2006 

  • Where? - Los Angeles, CA

  • Why? - Fulfilling a need for advocacy, monitoring, and compliance for small, diverse businesses seeking work on major projects

  • Foundational Scripture - Jeremiah 29:11  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

  • Major Transition? - In 2012, PDA expanded its services to include Workforce Development, partnering with local job coordinators as the industry’s focus evolved.​

  • Project Types: Infrastructure (Transit, Airports, Stadiums, Civic)

  • Flagship Projects: USC Village, Martin Luther King Jr. Outpatient Center Project, SoFi Stadium, Intuit Dome, LAX Automated People Mover Project, Hollywood Burbank Airport Terminal Replacement Project​

Key Milestones

​

  • First Major Contract: USC Village 2014 ($700 Million)

  • Service Expansions: XBE/Labor Compliance Monitoring (2006) → Workforce Development (2012) → Community Outreach (2013) → Media Services (2024) → PLA Administration (2025)

  • PDA Foundation: Founded in 2021 to serve as a success advocate for chronically underserved Black workers in the construction industry.  

  • PDA Headquarters: Moved into our new PDA Consulting Group, Inc., and PDA Foundation (CA - 501c3) offices (June 2023)
